A Way Home

A Way Home is 3Keys’ scattered site permanent supportive housing programs for formerly homeless individuals living with disabilities. We house 27 people in one bedroom apartments at the Adams House complex in southwest Atlanta. Here, residents are able to receive on site services both from their clinical providers as well as supportive services and case management from 3Keys staff. Providing permanent, stable housing with wrap around services has had many positive outcomes for our residents including reduced hospitalizations, and reduced incarcerations as well as decreased symptoms of mental health and better physical health outcomes. Our residents benefit from community, and many participate in our weekly walking group, and other monthly housing meetings.

The services provided play a crucial role in participants maintaining their housing and living up to their potential. Residents increase life skills, have opportunities to be involved in community events, and can even obtain reduced price memberships at the local YMCA. The library is within walking distance, as well as a recreation center and multiple grocery stores. A Way Home participants enjoy being a part of the Adams House community and experience a higher quality of life through permanent housing.
