Aspen Court Apartments and A Way Home, a permanent supportive housing program through 3Keys

3Keys Property Spotlight: A Way Home at Aspen Court Apartments

At The 3Keys, permanent supportive housing is designed to provide more than a place to live. Across six properties in Atlanta, residents have access to stable housing paired with services and community connections that support long-term well-being. One of those programs is A Way Home program at Aspen Court Apartments in southwest Atlanta.

Located at 1700 Stanton Road, SW, A Way Home includes 27 scattered-site apartments within the Aspen Court Apartment complex. The program primarily serves individuals living with mental health disabilities who have experienced chronic homelessness.

Residents receive ongoing support from both their clinical care providers and 3Keys staff, including supportive services and case management. These services help residents maintain housing stability while working toward personal goals, improving daily living skills, and building stronger connections within the community.

A Way Home residents have opportunities to participate in weekly walking groups, monthly housing meetings, and other community activities that encourage engagement and connection. Reduced-price memberships at the local YMCA also help residents stay active and prioritize wellness. With a library, the Y recreation center, and grocery stores all within a couple of miles, residents are able to access important resources close to home.

The apartment complex is also located on a MARTA bus line.

For many residents, the sense of community at Aspen Court plays an important role in their quality of life. Stable housing combined with consistent support creates an environment where individuals can focus on recovery, independence, and long-term stability.

One resident, CC, has made significant progress during her time at Adams House. After experiencing chronic homelessness and challenges related to substance use, she has engaged in treatment and achieved extended periods of sobriety. With stable housing in place, her Grady ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) team has been able to provide consistent, wraparound care addressing her mental health, physical health, and substance use needs.

Stories like CC’s reflect the impact of permanent supportive housing when housing and services work together. Together, we can end chronic homelessness in Atlanta.
