3Keys Staff Spotlight: Andrea Pittman, Executive Administrator

When Andrea Pittman shows up to work at The 3Keys each morning, she’s not just clocking in—she’s stepping into a position with purpose. Since 2020, Andrea has been a steady force behind the scenes, helping support operations that serve individuals experiencing chronic homelessness and mental health challenges in Atlanta.

Andrea first encountered The 3Keys several years ago while working for a property management company at one of 3Keys’ scattered site properties. There, she met Diane, 3Keys’ Director of Support Services. When Andrea transitioned out of her role with the property management company, she reached out to Diane to ask if 3Keys had any openings. The answer was yes—and soon after, Andrea joined the team as a property manager at Presley Woods.

With a degree in accounting and an eye for numbers, Andrea stepped into an opening as controller for 3Keys, the following year. The move set her on the path to her current role as Executive Administrator, where she now supports President and CEO Scott Walker, the broader leadership team, and staff across the organization.

“No two days are the same,” Andrea said. “My calendar can be packed with tasks, but I always leave space because something will come up—whether it’s assisting a property manager with a financial question, completing grant reports, or supporting a client who needs help.”

Even though she doesn’t work directly with clients every day, Andrea is deeply tuned in to their needs. She’s quick to step in—whether it’s helping someone access groceries, arranging transportation, or responding with empathy and understanding when a client is in crisis.

“I’m proud to work for an organization that is sensitive to the needs of the people in the community,” Andrea said. “I’m very sensitive to the clients. Dealing with homelessness and mental health issues can be very challenging, but I’m always thinking about how we can help.”

Andrea’s heart for service is matched by a deep sense of gratitude—for the doors that were opened for her, and for the clients whose journeys she’s privileged to witness. One of the most meaningful parts of her work, she says, is watching clients grow and thrive.

“We have an employee now who used to live in one of our properties,” Andrea shared. “She progressed through the program, moved out on her own, and now works with us. She’s doing very well. It’s so great to be a part of the stories of people going on to do better for themselves.”

Andrea is a quiet powerhouse at The 3Keys—always ready, supportive, and compassionate. We’re so so glad to have Andrea as part of the team!
