Volunteers Pack and Donate 209 Hygiene Kits to 3Keys Residents for Hands On Atlanta Week
Each year, Hand On Atlanta organizes and leads a week-long volunteer effort benefiting nonprofits across the metro Atlanta area. This year, 209 residents who live in Welcome House received personal hygiene kits, packed and distributed through Hands on Atlanta volunteers.
Hands On Atlanta Week ran from October 4 through 11 in 2026. 3Keys was one of more than 50 nonprofits and schools who were served during the week.
On October 7, dozens of corporate volunteers from Kilpatrick, Townsend and Stockton LLP’s Atlanta office, SouthState Bank, and OneDigital turned out to help for an all-hands on-deck assembling of hygiene kits. The packing event took place from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Be On Edgewood in Sweet Auburn. Together, employees from these three companies packed 1,800 hygiene and warm weather kits for 3Keys, Restoring One’s Hope of Atlanta, Inc., and First Step Staffing.

On October 21, the hygiene kits were delivered to residents at Welcome House in downtown Atlanta. The stacks of boxes were delivered on pallets to the apartment complex. Staff then handed them out during the regularly scheduled Food Pantry hour.

Located in Downtown Atlanta, Welcome House has 209 apartments. Welcome House is one of six properties across metro Atlanta where 3Keys operates permanent supportive housing units. Staff provide individualized, wraparound services for each resident. 3Keys serves more than 500 community members in Atlanta each year on their journey out of homelessness.
Thanks to all of the people and organizations across the city that partner with us in our mission to end chronic homelessness in Atlanta! Donations can be made any time at www.the3keys.org/donate and go directly to support residents in our six permanent supportive housing complexes.
